Instructions

• Thoroughly clean the tank and pipes with Siox 25 and rinse with a 1% solution of Clean Plus.
• Rinse the tank and pipes with 1% Vosicool solution until the rinse water is clear.

Fill the tank with the amount of water required, then add the correct amount of Vosicool:
• Grinding: 3-4% solution.
• Drilling, turning, milling: 4-6% solution.
• Regularly check the acidity and brix value of the coolant.
• The usage concentration is 1.6 times the brix reading. The pH should be between 7 and 8.
• If necessary, add some Vosicool.

Tips for better and cleaner production

Preparation

Drain old fluid.
Remove chips and slurry and spray with fresh water in all dead spots.
Also ensure that the contents of the pipes are removed.
Fill machine with clean water (6 parts), Siox 25 (1 part),Vosicool or Vosicool Extra (2%) and VOSSEN Clean Plus (1%).
Make a homogeneous mixture, start the pump and let it rinse for at least 2 hours.
Rinse the tank, all inlet and outlet channels, dead corners, etc. Also clean the complete machine with this cleaning fluid.
Drain cleaning fluid and rinse with fresh water so that all residues have disappeared.

Filling the machine

Fill the machine with fresh, clean water and determine the contents.
Joint Vosicool or Vosicool Extra in the right concentration.
Make this a homogeneous mixture.
Only then start the pump and allow the contents to circulate, collecting the first liters as they may still contain cleaning fluid.
As soon as the mixture is homogeneous and the concentration is at the right level, metalworking can be started.

Refill

Determine the amount of (diluted) liquid required.
Fill a mixing bowl or a clean emulsion unit with clean, fresh water.
Joint Vosicool or Vosicool Extra in the correct concentration (0.75 to 2%).
Make this a homogeneous mixture.
Add to the machine.
Homogenize and check pH and concentration.

Reduce environmental pollution

Avoid mist and vapor.
Reduce splashes, spills and leaks around the machine.
Reduce drag on chips and objects.
Dispose of used cooling lubricants and cleaning fluid as hazardous waste.

Work neater

Place the object carefully.
Install splash guards and drip trays.
Directing the beam.
Allow objects and chips to drain.

Work accurately with Vosicool and Vosicool Extra

Use precise (sparing) proportions.
Measure the quality regularly (pH and concentration).
Refresh carefully.
Register the quantities consumed (logbook).
Keep the cooling lubricant free of dirt.
Never use gasoline, kerosene or tri to clean.
Use a non-emulsifiable slideway oil (e.g. Metal VI).
Remove chips, leaking oil and dirt.
Reduce drag-out of cooling lubricants.

Personal hygiene reduces the possibility of infections with Hand cleaner.
